Can I finance specialist or unusual equipment?
Often, yes. Some lenders prefer common equipment with a strong resale market, while others know particular industries well. I’ll match you with lenders that suit what you’re buying. Read my specialist machinery guide.
Can I finance used equipment?
Yes. Lenders look at the age, condition and resale value. A dealer invoice or an independent valuation can help.
Can I buy from a private seller or at auction?
Sometimes. Private sales usually need extra checks, and auctions move fast, so talk to me before you bid. Read my private sale guide.
Do I need a deposit?
Not always. It depends on your business, the equipment and the lender’s assessment. A deposit lowers what you borrow and your repayments.
Can installation or freight be included?
Sometimes, when it’s part of the purchase and on the invoice. Ask me and I’ll check with the lender.
Can I claim the GST or a tax deduction?
It depends on your business. Speak to your accountant before you buy.
How long does it take?
